Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Procedure:
1. Sift together dry ingredients.
2. Stir in pecans.
3. Make a well in center.
4. Combine egg, milk, and oil.
5. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
6. Fill paper-lined muffin pans two-thirds full.
7. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
8. Remove from pan immediately.
Makes 10 muffins.
